Edmonton, AB – Beverage Container Management Board (BCMB) is pleased to announce that following its recent Request for Applications (RFA), 2696472 Alberta Ltd. has been granted Conditional Permit Approval to establish and operate a new beverage container depot (bottle depot) in Elk Point, Alberta.
The new facility will be located at 4826 Railway Avenue and is tentatively scheduled to begin operations on August 1, 2025. This development will provide residents of Elk Point and surrounding communities with a convenient, local option for returning their empty beverage containers and redeeming their deposits.
BCMB carefully reviewed all applications submitted through the RFA process to ensure the selected operator meets the necessary standards required for Alberta depot operations.
