Trina’s Biography

Trina Jones currently holds the position of Deputy Mayor for Town Council in the community of Legal, Alberta. Trina was first elected in 2010 and has remained on Town Council since. Trina served as Councillor for one year and as Deputy Mayor for the remaining seven years.

Trina has sat on various committees including the AUMA Small Communities Committee for three years followed by the AUMA Infrastructure and Energy Committee for an additional three years. Trina was elected to the Board as Director Towns East in 2017 and currently sits on other committees at the local level.

Trina’s post-secondary education was focused on Systems Analysis and Internet Solutions Development. Trina is trained in Emergency Management, Emergency Social Services and ICS. Trina also has experience with Utility Location, Retail Management and Website Development.

Trina currently participates on the BCMB’s Compliance Policy Committee.
